This international video conference, conducted as part of the project "Postdramatik" organised by the research platform Elfriede Jelinek in Vienna and later published, debated the problematic term "post drama" (Postdramatik); the continuing relationship between postdramatic theatre and the dramatic tradition as well as pre-dramatic forms of theatre such as Ancient Greek theatre; postdramatic theatre and the political; the potential of texts for postdramatic theatre; the international reception of translations Lehmann's Postdramatisches Theater; and Elfriede Jelinek's theatre texts in relation to many of the above points
